Swansea, Male Wood Duck

At High Park we were treated to seeing a dozen pairs of wood duck swimming together. The wonderful part was watching the reflection in the pond of the multi colours of the wood duck.

Parachute, Great Egret

At 5pm I stopped at the local marsh and was treated to see this beautiful egret flying around. He landed on the tree stump and then flew away. In this photo he has the magical look of a ballet dancer.

Surprised Disguise, Eastern Screech Owl

The Eastern Screech Owl is so good at hiding. I was looking right at this screech owl and didn't see him. All of a sudden I realized what was right in front of me. They are 6-7 inches in height.

Owlet Exploring Outside the Nest

The owlet is a eastern screech owl. My friend saw him sitting in the lilac bush while the parents were in the pine tree nearby. I had never seen a baby screech before and they are really a beautiful owl.
